Al-Ghazali Biography

Al-Ghazali, also known as Algazel in the West, was a Persian Islamic theologian, jurist, philosopher, and mystic. He was born in 1058 in Tus, Khorasan, Iran and died in 1111. He is considered one of the most important Muslim scholars of the Middle Ages, and his works had a significant impact on the development of Islamic thought.

Al-Ghazali was a prolific author and wrote on a wide range of subjects, including theology, law, logic, and Sufism. His most famous work is "The Revival of the Religious Sciences" (Ihya Ulum al-Din), which covers various aspects of Islamic belief and practice and is considered a classic of Islamic literature.
