This page features a list of learning goals and bucket ideas. Some are must-do things to learn and some are just for fun. I created it while pursuing my 100 life goals around the world, in hopes that it will inspire others to make their own list and live their dream life.
An important note before scrolling down:
The list below includes 368 learning bucket list ideas, but if you're looking for a bigger list then download my book, The SMART Bucket List.
It includes a list of 1000+ SMART goal ideas from various categories, such as fitness, travel, personal growth, and more. Each goal is crafted to meet the SMART criteria, making it a valuable resource for anyone looking to create a truly actionable goal list.
Click here to download it for FREE. Additionally, you’ll get my Design Your Dream Year workbook, containing a proven step-by-step action plan to check off those big goals on your list.
One more thing, if you decide to take part in any of the activities listed below, you do so entirely at your own risk. Some of the bucket list ideas listed here can be risky, so seek out guidance if you decide to try them.
With this in mind, let's rock and roll!!
Learning Bucket List Ideas
Here is a detailed list of some of my favorite learning bucket ideas:
Idea 1. Achieve a 4.0 For One Semester - (* Achieving a 4.0 GPA for one semester is a challenging but achievable goal. Remember that a 4.0 GPA is the highest possible GPA, so it will require a lot of hard work and dedication. )
Idea 2. Add Something Useful to Wikipedia - (* Adding to Wikipedia is not that hard, just check if the topic exists, hit "edit" if it does or create a new page if it doesn't, and make sure to follow the policies and guidelines.)
Idea 3. Attend a Presidential Inauguration - (* If you want to go to a presidential inauguration, you gotta get a ticket either through your rep or senator, a state delegation event, or a tour operator, but be ready for lots of people and security.)
Idea 4. Attend a Sydney Opera House - (* To attend a show at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, just buy tickets online or call the box office and consider getting a membership, but make sure to buy tickets ahead of time as they sell out fast.)
Idea 5. Attend a TED Talk - (* To go to a TED Talk, either buy a ticket or apply for a scholarship on the TED website, and keep checking for updates on upcoming events and ticket availability.)
Idea 6. Attend a Writing Class - (* Just do a quick search for writing classes near you or online to find a convenient and flexible option for honing your writing skills.)
Idea 7. Attend California Institute of the Arts - (* To get into CalArts, you gotta apply and show your stuff with good grades, a portfolio, and a killer personal statement since it's a pretty competitive school.)
Idea 8. Attend Howard University - (* Howard U can be a tough school to get into, they look at your grades, test scores and personal statement, but once you're in, you have access to a ton of programs and opportunities as a historically black university located in D.C.)
Idea 9. Attend Stanford Law School - (* As you probably know, Stanford Law is a super-competitive school. To attend Stanford Law School, you will need to meet certain academic and application requirements. All applicants to Stanford Law School must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).)
Idea 10. Be a Foreign Exchange Student - (* Becoming a foreign exchange student is a cool way to experience a new culture, learn a language, and gain life skills, just research and choose the right program for you based on factors like program length, country, and accommodation.)

* What is a Bucket List? A bucket list is a list of things you want to do before you die. It can be as simple as a few items or as complex as a lifetime worth of goals. The key to making it work is to not put too much pressure on yourself and just have fun with it.
* Learning is the process of acquiring new knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. It is a continuous process that occurs throughout a person's life.
* Quick Tip For Creating Your Learning Bucket List: Start brainstorming by writing down all the things you want to do before you die. Then, pick the ones that are most important to you right now and start working on them.
