Who is Rowan Atkinson?

Rowan Atkinson is a British actor, comedian, and writer. He is best known for his role as the bumbling and accident-prone character Mr. Bean in the popular British television series "Mr. Bean" and its subsequent adaptations, including films and live performances. He was born on January 6, 1955 in Consett, County Durham, England.

Atkinson began his career as a performer in the late 1970s, appearing on the BBC comedy series "Not the Nine O'Clock News" and in the sketch comedy show "Blackadder". He later created and starred in "Mr. Bean", which ran from 1990 to 1995 and brought him international fame and acclaim.
