  • De Mille went on to choreograph several other successful ballets, including "Fall River Legend," "Three Virgins and a Devil," and "The Informer."
  • She also choreographed several Broadway musicals, including "Oklahoma!" (1943), "Carousel" (1945), and "Brigadoon" (1947). Her innovative and expressive choreography helped to revolutionize musical theater.
  • De Mille was also a prolific writer. She wrote several books on dance and choreography, including the influential "Dance to the Piper" (1952).
