What is needed right NOW?
Often, I get lost in thoughts about the future.
This morning was no different. I woke up at 5am here in Cyprus, and my mind would not shut up.
Whenever this happens, I have a little mindset shift I've adopted. I bring myself to the present and ask:
What is needed right NOW? What wants to be expressed in this moment? Where do I need to be?
The answer often surprises me. This morning, for example, it brought me to this beautiful quiet beach for an early swim. My body wanted that swim so badly after a night of a decadence and excess.
And this is another a mindset shift I've made in recent years. The best answer comes not just from the mind but also from the body.
It's a balancing act.
Our thinking mind is a powerful unit, no doubt about that, but we tend to forget that every cell in our body is an intelligent being as well.
The head is in time, while the body is in the NOW.
When you think about it, it's the only place life actually happens. .
