Barcelona is our home. Charlottesville is our home. This whole planet is our home.
We like to think we belong to one country but countries are just lines drawn on a map – mind constructs.
Perhaps when we stop seeing ourselves as separate – separate countries, separate races, separate classes, separate from nature – and instead embrace a broader self, we’ll make heaven a place on earth.
It all starts from us, not from our politicians or country leaders – most of them benefit and thrive on separation.
It all starts from us. How we see ourselves. Right here, Right now.
Because you and me are as powerful as Trump, as powerful as Mother Teresa, as powerful as we think ourselves to be.
We live in times where one viral Youtube video can have as much impact as a politician’s speech, where one post can create a cascade of changes.
The change starts within us.
And no change is small.
